Porsche 911 GT2 RS Price, Acceleration, Cost – Here I have the Porsche 911 GT2 RS. This is the ultimate 911, and in this article, I’m going to give it a jolly good reviewing for your viewing pleasure and for my driving pleasure. And to do that, I’m gonna talk around the exterior design, show you the upgrades inside, give you some geeky facts, see how quick it is, and do my best not to crash it.

Exterior Design

Let’s begin this discussion by speaking about the GT2 RS it’s designed. The Porsche 911 GT2 RS looks way more aggressive than the standard 911. the bonnet is built out of carbon fiber, and it’s got this striped effect going on it either side, which is cool. There are also these vents in the bonnet. Which you might think of pointless, but they do actually channel air down and through all the bodywork. Not sure if they’re cooling the brakes or just aiding the airflow.

There are huge intakes for the radiators, and all the vents on this car are real. GT2 RS also got that big front splitter with GT2 RS written on it. It looks a bit like cheap plastic, but it’s actually lightweight polyurethane. As we move down the side, you have 20-inch alloy wheels at the front with interlocking caps, racing car style. Then there are these prominent vents that help let hot air out of the wheel. The wings, just like the bonnet that made out of carbon fiber.

The roofer’s standard is magnesium, and that helps keep the weight down and the center of gravity. You’ll notice it’s got the wide body design as well. With air intakes like the turbo to feed edge that turbocharges engine. At the rear, we have 21-inch alloys as standard. Now when we move around in the back, and the most noticeable thing here is the huge carbon-fiber spoiler, it helps give you some downforce. You can buy it to helps improve the aerodynamics of this car at a higher speed.

Interior Design

Here on the inside, the GT2 RS has lots of nice upgrades over the standard 911. my favorite of which and these carbon-fiber low-slung bucket seats, they are wonderful, and they have an RS logo embossed into the headrest. There’s also lots of Alcantara about the place, loveliness. Also, the frame of the wheel is made out of carbon fiber, as are the paddle shifters. The rest of it is just normal 911 pretty much. So you’ve got lovely 911 start dials, very easy to read and loads of information. Standard infotainment system from the 911 which is looking a bit old now. And it doesn’t even have an Android Auto just apple car play, goddamnit so I can’t use my phone with it.

No doubt what you’d all like to geek over the most, though is the engine. It’s a 3.8 liter flat 6 twin turbo with 700 horsepower and 750 Newton meters of torque. It drives only the rear wheels for a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The top speed is 211 miles an hour through that is limited. I reckon it could go even quicker. But Porsche just won’t let it because the 918 spyder tops out at 249. you couldn’t have that getting beaten by 911.

The track is 50 millimeters wider than a standard 911 Carrera. It gets dynamic engine mounts that hold the engine tighter. So it doesn’t move about so much depending on what’s driving mode you in. The suspension is completely upgraded with stiffer Springs, there’s also stiffer dampers, and they are adaptive as standard. There’s also Porsches torque-vectoring rear differential. Which can send more power to the outer wheel to help push you around a corner.

The Porsche 911 GT2 RS started from just under two hundred and eight thousand pounds. Though this one with options came to two hundred and thirty-six thousand pounds. And I am talking to the upgrades now. Extended black leather, two thousand one hundred and forty-seven pounds. Lovely Miami blue paint, two thousand five hundred and twenty-five pounds. A reversing camera, four hundred and sixty-four pounds. Corona package with stopwatch 336 pounds. Painted headlight washers, 143 pounds.

Silver seatbelts, a hundred and ninety-four pounds. Silver paint for the alloy wheels 168 pounds, don’t isn’t this just the standard color of alloys. The auto-dimming rearview mirror and automatic windscreen wipers, 387 pounds. White in cinnamon dials 417 pounds. And finally, there’s the Weissach package, which includes a carbon-fiber roof instead of the standard magnesium one. Lightweight magnesium alloy wheels. What embroidered onto the headrests, including the truck itself. Carbon-fiber anti-roll bars, and finally, the roll cage made out of titanium to help save weight. Overall the Weissach package costs 21,000 and 42 pounds. Though it will reduce the cost of weight by 30 kilos.

Let’s talk about more practical stuff, so how is the 911 GT2 RS like as a daily driver? While being a 911, it’s actually quite easy to drive, got excellent visibility, and it’s reasonably comfortable. So then what’s my last opinion on the Porsche 911 GT2 RS. Well, hmm, oh bloody love it, don’t really have much to say about it than that.
